Our new friends

Here are some of the other families who are here with us. Actually, you'll see all of the children who were in foster care from Nanchang. Below are Ken and Lynn and their daughter Anna. They are from DC and are becoming good friends of ours - super nice people. Anna is clinging to Daddy a lot, so we're hoping she will give mommy a shot very soon. The couple to the right are from California - also becoming dear friends of ours. Their daughter Melissa is very shy, but slowly coming out of her shell. She as clung to mommy, so daddy is hoping he'll get a shot soon. She is potty trained!! The picture with all the kids: Jasmine, 4 years old from CA, just got a baby sister Lily, Tori and Lexie obviously, and the other teen aged girl is Lexie, and her sister is Sybella. Sybella's foster mother is the one who keeps coming by - we found out today that she lives right across the street, so this must be so painful for her. And the last picture is another friend of ours, Nicole, with her baby Sophie. Sophie has been very very sad, clings to mommy, won't look at daddy, starting to give grandma a shot, but not grandpa. Evidently she was very very close with her foster mother as well, so this is a mourning for her as with all of them. And to the right is Lynn again, with her little Anna.

The ones I'm missing I'll send tomorrow - Lilyanna, baby who is 8 months old (doing fine, has mom and 2 grandmas here; I think she just has an ear infection), another Lily who was given to her parents with scabies and ended up in the hospital this morning with a fever and they don't know waht, about the same age, and the twins who are about 12 months old (they seem to be doing fine; mom and dad look exhausted). All of these kids were from orphanages that aren't right here in Nanchang.
