We arrived on November 23rd to the most beautiful sights - first of all Mom, Dad, and Katie met us at the gate, and it was a reunion never to forget. My mom and Katie had made these beautiful posters, and they had told everyone around them what was happening. Air Tran allowed them to go to the gate, so Katie got to see Lexie immediately. She went right to her and gave a hug and a kiss, as if she had known her her entire life. Mom and Dad couldn't believe their eyes, and we had people coming up to us congratulating us on our newest addition. It was very cute.
Lexie was intrigued by the posters and was searching them up and down - I wonder if she remembered our trip and the people?? Who knows, but her little mind was running.
When we arrived up at baggage, we were greeted by Uncle Eddie and Aunt Barrett, the Smolynskys, and Mrs. Jordan and Niko - what a treat! Lexie was so happy to see all of them - gave Niko a kiss right away, jumped on the hippo Emily had brought, and before we were leaving she was playing games with Eddie and Bear as if she knew who they were. (She actually might have felt like it because I had been showing her pictures for 2 weeks, but none the less, she was very comfortable with everyone and had a beautiful homecoming.)
