Travel Date

Well... we finally have a date! It looks like we will be leaving for China on November 7th! So, I have three weeks to pack up and get ready. It's hard to believe we've waited 2 and a half years for this, and now that it's here we feel rushed. It will be a little tricky during the holiday season, but we've decided that we are going to really cut back this Christmas with the gifts. So, forgive us if our gift giving is slim this year; we've got one really big present that we're preparing for. :-) LEXIE!
The prices are outrageous to fly to China - Billy spent half of the day today on the phone with all these different airlines. It doesn't help that we're coming home during Thanksgiving, but what do you do? Tomorrow I will call the travel agency that our adoption agency uses to see if they have any better ideas. Everyone says you have to do first class, but each ticket is $15,000!! So, that's out of the question - we're trying to come up with some other options. I'll keep you posted.
In the meantime, please pray for Lexie's health and well-being, that she's being loved, cared for, and protected. Also, our prayer is that Lexie's heart will be prepared for us - so she's not terrified of us when we get her. Thank you for all your prayers!
