Hi! Just wanted to give everybody a little update about what's been going on. Katie had a birthday, Tori graduated from middle school and had her first dance, and Lexie started a music class and has been (as you can see) learning the art of relaxation in Nana and Pop Pop's pool. We've had a couple of weeks of summer, and we're enjoying ourselves to pieces. It's so nice to not have the schedule to follow, all the sports activities, all the driving, homework, etc. The girls are having a lot of fun together. We haven't done as much unpacking as we should have, but we're getting to it slowly. It takes so much longer with a toddler around!
Lexie has changed pretty drastically. She is quite a little talker - can count to 10 on her own, says 2 or 3 words together, and is trying her hardest to sing like Tori. It's been amazing to watch her development - we all just sit there and watch her sometimes, wondering if she's for real. Tori and Katie have enjoyed having the extra time to play with her, and needless to say, Lexie loves having her sisters around during the day.
We took a trip to the beach to see Boo and Papa, and all the girls had a ball. Lexie was fearless in the water, which freaked me out a little bit, but she's doing great keeping her head up out of the water and getting herself where she wants to go in the pool.
The BIG day is right around the corner - Lexie's 2nd birthday!!! So, you'll be seeing more pictures soon. Our love to all of you,
